It's useful, however due to the cost, I have never been able to take it in the amounts used in the experiments: 5 mg 3 times a day. But I use it if I'm facing a demanding situation. It is 5 grams, not milligrams I tried it for a few days, but the study went on for some time, I think 3 months? Anyway, it's expensive.
