Guest guest
my levels have bounced between 103 to 118 since 2000, when i started ziagen. My doc gave me meformin and tricor for a couple years, but we gave it up after a few years, haven't done anything since about 04, probably worthless. Just keep watch, always do your blood tests with no food for the previous 18 hrs, and eat right, which is everything in moderation. no biggie, but remember my mantra, EVERYONE is different genetically, so your body make react differently. I ALWAYS try to do fewer meds rather than more. (i don't do norvir) San Francisco

Guest guest
I recently went to a new GP and he required new labs. I was very unhappy with him & refused a follow-up appt. My question is that my glucose was high (113 ref range 65-99). I'm thin, eat very healthy & don't have any family history of diabetes. My glucose has always been in the normal range. Has anyone experienced this? Any advice? Joy
Guest guest
Hi Joy, Check your diet more closely. You might be eating a little too many carbs which turn to sugar. Actually 113 is not all that bad. A little diet tweaking would probably fix it nicely. Eat more protien and less carbs and make sure the carbs are complex carbs.
