brain nerve hormones, 24 hour catechol, COMP, epinephrine

I had a 24 hour urine test of Catechol free

and Serotonin.

Although the results are in range on the results, the dr wants to see them

higher like in the upper half of range.

He is suggesting 5htp and tyrosine.

However, I have already been on 5htp 200-300 for many years., and was on it

prior to the test.

I also have genetic detox and COMP problems.

Does this treatment sound right? Especially as epinephrien is quite low in

relation to the others.

results

norepinephrine 28 range 15-80

epinephrine 2.2 0-20

dopamine 174 65-400

serotonin 80 range ,= 210

IS this also related to gut problems?
