MAF Yogurt

Hi EveryOne,

I have been taking MAF Yogurt, - the first two months I got it from Dr. Enlander

and after that I have made it myself. It costs $150 for about a months supply

from Dr. Enlander's office.

I started in the middle of January and I take it once a day, sometimes two. So

far, I have not had a relapse of the central nervous system symptoms I had for

years, since March. When they did occur in March they were significantly reduced

and did not last as long as previously. At that time I had been on the protocol

about two months.

I also take the Hepapressin injections once a week and use the Immunoprop,

Immunoplus, Catapult and Lectrolyte, also from Dr Enlander.

When I first went to see him Dr E did a lot of testing of various functions of

my body including my lungs, my immune system, heart, a lot of tests I had wanted

before but could not get elsewhere.

The second visit he gave me all the time I wanted to talk with him about the

results of the testing and any thing else. He is very easy to talk to and I

found it a great relief to finally have someone who knew a lot more than i did

about ME/CFS and by the time I left, I felt great hope for improvement. I have

not been disappointed.

I still experience fatigue and post-exertional malaise but I wouldn't be

surprised if they soon change for the better as well. I have also learned to

avoid relapses if at all possible by changing my activities realizing that the

yo-yo effect of push-relapse was not going to result in healing. So far so

good.

Dear Beverly,

Please let us know how you make your own Maf yogurt. How do you get the supplies

for it and in there a recipe that has to be followed. If you make it yourself

does it work just as well? How much does it cost a month when you make it

yourself?

I have been told by another group member in a private message that I am a good

candidate for GcMaf, but the cost of the medication seems to be very expensive

or about $5000 for a whole course of treatment.

Please write back soon because I am really anxious to hear about this option.
