Guest guest
I take Benadryl every other night, because that seems to work better than not taking it or taking it all the time. (Taking it vs. not taking it has different effects on various health factors the next day.) If I am getting pulse oximetry (O2 sat) for just one night, then is it likely to worsen or improve any O2 saturation? (I'm aware that it might relax muscles and be bad for obstructive apneas, but in addition I have central apneas and a lot of other issues, including severe mold issues that Benadryl helps a small amount with.) I am told I have pale lips the next morning after I take Benadryl, but I don't know if that means anything in this context. Obviously 2 nights in a row would be best to get an accurate reading, but I don't know if that will happen. I will ask the ordering office what to do, but they might not know. I am told it's likely I have issues getting O2 into cells, but that pulse oximetry might not show anything. Thanks.
