Guest guest
Does anyone have this thing happening - Maybe once a month I get 1-2 spontaneous cuts , mostly on my thumb. Before that it feels real puffy/spongy/swollen and then after some time I will see a cut. I was wondering if this could be due to hypercoagulation or biofilms ? Guest guest
Dear Depak This sounds very much like my experience of psoriasis, a day or so of disordered touch sensation followed by spontaneous breaks in the skin , often following the lines of the fingerprint. For me, the use of a barrier cream or moisturiser (Sorbolene) manages to slow the process. Once the skin is broken I use sports strapping tape to cover the skin and leave it until the wound is healed. Psoriasis is associated with hypoxemia (which I have, oxygen saturation often dropping to under 90%) Co-enzyme Q 10 may lessen the symptoms, I've only started it (150 mg nightly) a few days ago but it does seem to lift oxygen levels. Fibromyalgia trigger points are also areas of local hypoxemia. What is cause and what is effect, I've not worked out. Guest guest
Is it herpes whitlow? It is very common for Cfs patients to have varied high herpes titers. I have it. It isn't a cut though it starts as a sore bump under the skin. It swells and sort of itches but mostly hurts.
