Guest guest
The average cardiologist doesn't have a clue what Cheney's talking about. They don't really care about your cardiac output. They might check your ejection fraction, which is a systolic measurement. I think only Cheney is really qualified to say whether you have it. And even Cheney doesn't think CFS is primarily a heart disorder, so there's not much point in getting him to test you either. Tim Bonnie, your first step should be getting referred to a cardiologist. They might do some basic preliminary non-invasive testing (echo, etc) to look at your heart function. They should be able to take it from there... Hope this helps! > > After listening to Dr. Cheney's 3 hour lecture about diastolic cardiomyopathy (on the web), I have come to believe that this iis what I have. > > Does anyone know the name of the test that determines whether or not we have this disorder? My doctor doesn't know anything about this amd I would like to have the test done. > > Thanks, > > bonnieb
