Guest guest
{Moderator: removed solicitation in signature} hi ken, the way i experience alcohol intolerance is that even the tiniest consumption of alcohol leads to a lovely combo of  hangover/relapse for about 3 days which turns something once pleasurable into a masochistic act that i have the willpower to avoid. even the smell of wine now makes me gag. donna >________________________________ > From: Ken L <ken.lassesen@...> > >Sent: Sunday, June 10, 2012 10:13 AM >Subject: Investigating an interesting angle for CFS Treatment... > > > >Currently, I working off some anecdotal information and want to get some more experience before jumping to hypothesis. > >1) Experience taking Rifamycin (please include dosage and duration, I expect both are signicant)... >* Any change of any auto-immune symptoms? > >2) " Alcohol intolerance " is often cited as a symptom. Guest guest
Alcohol causes me to have muscle cramps, especially in my legs. Â I've recently learned that it causes calcium and magnesium to not be absorbed, so that makes sense. Â You probably already knew that. Â I'm also much more sensitive to it as far as it causing insomnia now. From: Ken L <ken.lassesen@...> Subject: Investigating an interesting angle for CFS Treatment... Date: Sunday, June 10, 2012, 11:13 AM Â Currently, I working off some anecdotal information and want to get some more experience before jumping to hypothesis. 1) Experience taking Rifamycin (please include dosage and duration, I expect both are signicant)... * Any change of any auto-immune symptoms? 2) " Alcohol intolerance " is often cited as a symptom. I am looking for as much detail/experience of how this presents.... Feel free to privately email me at Ken [at] Lassesen.com Many thanks in advance! Guest guest
I experience " alcohol intolerance " as feeling like you drank a whole bottle the next day instead of one glass. However, I recently found out I'm allergic to brewer's yeast so my experience may not be pertinent.
Guest guest
Exactly the same for me - found out I'm allergic to brewer's yeast as well. I tried a half glass yesterday for the first time in almost a year & felt so ill - definitely not worth it!! May be more universal in CFS than previously mentioned. > > I experience " alcohol intolerance " as feeling like you drank a whole bottle > the next day instead of one glass.
