Guest guest
Hi EveryOne, According to Garth Nicholson the Doxycycline worked for Mycoplasma fermentans but regular penicillin type antibiotic like Amoxicillan did not. The reason for this is that the penicillins work by destroying cell walls of bacteria and Mycoplasma fermentans doesn't have cell walls it hides in cells. Does anyone know of a test to determine the presence of Mycoplasma fermentans? Has anyone been diagnosed or treated for it?
