Do the newer air conditioners now do a better job of dehumidifying the air now

than older ones. I don't like 'cold' air conditioned air but just turn it on to

dehumidify the air. However I have to turn it down pretty cool to get the

humidity down low. Someone said the fans on newer systems move slower and so

give the air conditioner more time to take more water out. Is that true?
