I don't want to cause anything, I just want to know did you and Sharon just get out and live in your car or pitch a tent. I would like to hear about it. I know I still don't have the money for an RV or to get medical care. Hey , We lived in a rental house for eight months that our insurance company paid for. It was really expensive because we have two kids, two cats and two dogs. All we had was a bed each, a dresser each, a couch, a loveseat and a TV. When we could tell that our insurance company was going squirrelly on us, we knew we would not be able to afford $4K per month for rent and we would soon be homeless. So we bought another house before our credit would in question from a lawsuit. We got a very funky loan that our payments were much less than one could rent a house for. We had to go buy all new furniture, bedding, dishes, etc on our credit cards. Even though this house is clean, I was very sensitive to everything for awhile. I slept outside on the deck for three months straight. I spent as much time as I possibly could outdoors. Even when outdoors, I would sleep with a fan blowing on me to get more oxygen. I attribute much of my regained health to this fact. The rest, to antifungals and a mold free diet. Our problem stemmed from a bad remediation, cross contamination. We were only in there for three days after the remediation. My daughter has had numerous complications, just from that short period of time. I, not knowing any better and already sensitive, was in the house one day when they were testing the air after the HVAC was turned on. That is what really got me. My illness became severe, primarily from a short term, sudden blast. I got whole enchilada of symptoms. But I also got some good clean air and some proper medical treatment very quickly. Even with that, it was about a year and a half before I felt back among the living. And I would say, only the last six months that I would consider myself a healthly person again. Although I still have some weird, yet minor, symptoms. I get edema very easily. I had a girlfriend who was going through this at the same time. She chose to stay in the house. Her sinuses are so permanently screwed up and so are her lungs. She had a really rough time. Did a little stint with some pain killers to try and mentally run from the issue. That landed her in the psych ward. We both went through a nightmare experience. I got out. She didn't. I am well today. She is not and never will be again. So that is my story. And yes, we were able to afford another house. As tough as it was for us, I recognize it is even tougher for others. That's why many of us do what we do to help those who are even more disadvataged by the situation. But, there is nothing we can do to help you if you don't get out of what is making you sick in the first place. And to watch this happen over and over again, is heartbreaking. I think one of the biggest things that those of us who have been through it can do to help those still in the eye of the tornado, is to drive home the point: No matter what, if you are sick, Get Out! Guest guest
Marcie, I know doctors will advise on anti-acids but remember doctors work 'against' your system. Sometime that is necessary but stomach acid is important to properly digest food and ALSO to kill microbes in your stomach. If your belching is due to, say, Candida overgrowth, which I believe mine was, suppressing the acid helps the Candida or H Pylori or other microbe in your stomach or upper digestive area to flourish. ----- Original Message ----- From: " Marcie McGovern " <marcie1029@...> >I have the same problems with the belching, before I went to bed and the >pressure build up while laying down trying to go to sleep. Guest guest
Barb, What do I do then? I took Digestive Enzimes for awhile but they stopped helping. The pain is extremely intense. What else can I take? Thanks, Marcie Barbra BW <bbw@...> wrote: Marcie, I know doctors will advise on anti-acids but remember doctors work 'against' your system.
