Guest guest
MAYTAG'S NEPTUNE FRONT LOADER WASHING MACHINE AND TOXIC BLACK MOLD By Dr. ph S. Puleo http://www.wnho.net/maytag_black_mold.htm Posted: 01 June 2004 POSTED WITH PERMISSION 24 May 2004 Dear Dr. P. Bradley Carey: President of the World Natural Health Organization http://www.wnho.net Dr. Carey, as International Executive Director for Natural Health Research in your organization, I would like to take this time to inform you of a serious health hazard involving Maytag's Neptune front loader washing machines. and I purchased one a year ago from Sandpoint Appliances formerly Karli's Appliances. We have bought many appliances from them and found them to be honorable people, and impeccable service. The problem is that while watching TV two weeks or so ago on Thursday the 13th on Channel 2 News, New York, the news at 11 PM has a segment, called Shame On You and they were investigating a Problem of the above Washing Machine Model. The problem is with BLACK MOLD around the seals, and it grows and spews toxic fumes of the airborne mold. We have been experiencing this tell tale odor in our laundry room and all of us in the house hold; experienced respiratory distress. The TV Station called Maytag Service 1-888-Maytag and they danced around the issue and then came clean as well there are Class Action Law suits going on and asking others to join in against Maytag and knowing dealers. They provide a fix sending a new part whereas some people complained that that did not work. My wife called Maytag Service, because we found the origin of the MOLD WAS THE WASHING MACHING HEREIN DESCRIBED. When called and spoke to a rep from the above number, they did not deny it, but told us we did not read the manual correctly (black mold is black mold), no matter what they say and it is deadly, especially on children and aged adults. The rep then said that they will send the parts to our dealer, and we should pay the labor, expressed a few unkind words because of the arrogance and their lack of concern for the DEADLY BLACK MOLD PROBLEM as she is aware of my research in infectious disease as I in the past uncovered many illness and diseases involving BLACK MOLD. The representative then reluctantly agreed to call the dealer mentioned above to repair it with no cost to us, perhaps 's displeasure with their so called solution they pay for the parts and we pay for the labor and threats of joining in a law suit, they would not have approved the labor. then called our local dealer named above and they told her that Maytag agreed to pay for the labor as well and told the dealer that she was belligerent, he failed to tell the dealer of his aggressive attitude complaining that we did not read the manual, the manual does not address the black mold. The Maytag Representative at the above number said they knew of this problem a couple of years ago, and our Neptune Model is a 2003 and should not have that problem, BUT IT DOES AS EVIDENCE OF THE BLACK MOLD AND STENCH AS DESCRIBED. a NEW ADVERTISEMENT NOW SHOWS THE NEPTUNE MODEL AS A TOP LOAD WASHING MACHINE, what about the unsuspecting owners of the problem models now in homes without this knowledge of the health hazard? I would like to request that the WNHO, research this problem and post it on our Internet site as HEALTH DANGERS AND WARNINGS! Any actions taken would be greatly appreciated. Attached with this email are some of the dangers of TOXIC BLACK MOLD! I will send you more research that I have done on this subject. Sincerely, Dr. ph S.
