Guest guest
I just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone on this message board who have had the courage to post their stories, symptoms, predicaments, difficulties, etc. It takes a strong person to insist that what they are experiencing is real, and an even stronger person to talk to others about what they are experiencing. I can't imagine what this experience was like for people before us, who experienced toxic mold before this message board was in existence. These posts have helped me and my family more than you can possibly know over the last two years. I really appreciate it, and am very grateful. Amazing what open and honest communication can accomplish. This is actually my second time relying on an internet-based message board for support/answers/information regarding a difficult, primarily unheard of, health-related situation. The first time was eight years ago as my mom was facing a heart transplant due to viral cardiomyopathy, and I was her primary caregiver, 24x7. There wasn't a lot of support or information available, and heart recipients were few and far between, and located throughout the U.S. and the world, making it difficult to connect with people experiencing a similar experience. It helped me and my mom immensely at the time, regarding what to expect, what's normal/not normal, and the challenges she would face. To this day, she contines to keep in touch with fellow recipients because of the message board, and is doing well today because of people sharing their stories. Thank you all so much for your contributions. Jules
