Guest guest
Woman blames mold, insurer for deteriorating health August 4, 2005 - 8:53AM http://wwmt.com/engine.pl? station=wwmt & id=18430 & template=breakout_local.html (NEWS 3) - Molds are thought to cause chronic sinus problems in more than 37 million Americans. A Battle Creek homeowner who lost her black mold case in court against a Michigan insurance company says the health problems are severe. The Koch family near Battle Creek initially won a jury trial against Farm Bureau Insurance. Jurors had ordered the company to pay $181,000 to clean up black mold in the home. Farm Bureau won on appeal and the jury award was thrown out. Now, Terri Koch says she has mold spores in her lungs. " I doubt I'll ever see a grandchild from my youngest son, " she says. " I doubt I'll ever see the day he gets married. You can't keep going like I am and get so short of breath that you're passing out and there's nothing anybody's doing about it. A company spokesman says there's no proof that Terri Koch's medical condition is caused by black mold and that the mold was a pre- existing condition. Guest guest
It's not what the insurance company did, it's what the judge did. Why bother to have a jury trail if what they say gets overruld and thrown out? So, is that another way of saying you have 12 ignorant people who don't know how to use their own brains. --- In , " kengib .
