Guest guest
In these mold cases, the Medical experts for the defense are often times employed by Universities. As I understand it and as is documented in the Kilian Trial transcripts, money for expert witness testimony goes directly to these Universities. In the Kilian case, Dr. Saxon, who is a co-author of the ACOEM Mold Statement and is also head of immunology at UCLA, was paid approximately $70,000 for his expert witness testimony to say Ms. Kilian's tremors after indoor mold and myctoxin exposure was psychological in origin. It is reported that there are approximately 10,000 mold cases a year currently in the courts across the US. If each one of these cases generate, say only $50,000 to the Universities that the medical experts work for, then how much money is being funneled from the insurance companies to the research universites (that are suppose to be protecting the well being of citizens) to deny the serious coginitive, neurological and immunological illness that thousands are experiencing? Answer 10,000 x $50,000 = $500,000,000.00 A YEAR! Sharon Kramer
