More specifically, it will focus on; · Situation analysis to understand the care and support needs (health, economic, social etc.) of PLHA and their families. · Comprehensive HIV/AIDS care . · Ethical issues in care and support of people living with HIV. · Hospital/ clinical based care of HIV/AIDS · Home based care of PLHA. · Community based care of PLHA. · Counselling. · Monitoring and evaluation of care and support programme for PLHA. PARTICIPANTS: The programme is designed for planners, programme managers and researchers in organisations, institutions and NGOs involved in the management of HIV/AIDS at provincial and national levels. The number of participants is restricted to 25. FEE: The course fee will be Rs.12,000/- for Indian participants and US $600/- for international participants. This covers charges for board and lodging and course material. The participants/sponsoring agencies will have to bear the travel expenses to and from New Delhi.
