Guest guest
In the quest to keep the members of this group as comfortable as possible, now that the owners of Grouply have an opt-out feature available, I have added this group to the growing list of those *not* allowed on Grouply. Any 100-plus messages that had been stored there because members did belong to the service before I found out about its existence and removed those members, have now been deleted. For the mods and owners of other groups (And I know a lot of you *do* have your own lists), this is the address to go to if you wish to remove your list from Grouply: http://www.grouply.com/owner_controls.php You do *not* have to join Grouply to opt-out, as rumored previously. You go to the above link, put your group's name in the box and click, and Grouply will send an email with a code to the (group)-owner email address, so all owners and moderators will get a copy of it. All you need is for one of you to pop the code into the next page (the link will also be in the email), click, and your group is gone from Grouply. Also, the owners of Grouply have said that if someone now requests to add your list to their Grouply account the owner address will get the opt-out email before allowing the group's messages on Grouply and the owner/mods will have 24 hours to opt out. After that the owner can still opt-out, but they'll have to go to the above url to do so. Sue in NJ
