Guest guest
Hi, My name is Jodee. I am 41 years old and a Jr. Accountant from Rochester NY. I live in the house that I grew up in (my parents died when I was 21) with my husband of 21 years and our two daughters (presently a freshman away at college), who is a junior in high school, and Zeus our Yorkshire Terrier. I have some health problems including high blood pressure, hypothyroid, and diabetes and on medication for these ailments. My lowest weight as an adult was when I was 19, which was 109. My highest weight was 325 and that was June of 2003 when I was diagnosed with diabetes after two years of steroids following brain surgery in 2001. After I was diagnosed, I exercised daily and not only did my blood glucose return to normal levels but I lost 156 pounds. Enter the hypothyroid that was not diagnosed for 3 years and I got back up to 271 pounds. At present I weigh 247. So here I am morbidly obese again. I have a very busy life. I work 9 hours a day and have not learned how to work exercise and eating at regular intervals into my diet with my work schedule. I’m meeting with a dietician on the 14th for some help. I tend to go long periods without eating just because I am busy and then my blood glucose spikes. My goals are to lose weight eating in a healthy manner for my diabetes, exercise, and get diabetes under better control. Thanks for listening Jodee
