Eileen, I will take a turtle over a gain anyday. Sounds like you know what did it and can plan better next time. Good for you. Eileen <ebax@...> wrote: I turtled this week - no gain, no loss. beef I think I've ever had. OMG it was good. OK, well, technically, both of these could be on program, depending on what else I ate. The premise of the flex plan is you CAN eat anything, if you plan for it. The buffalo wings with the fries was not the best choice, but they are SO GOOD, and I go there maybe 4 times a year. The roast beef dinner was high points but generally nutritious. There were sauteed vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes and a large green salad and no dessert. I felt I could do that because I had only a salad for lunch. I did ride the bike very briefly last Saturday, and I will do that again today. I need to sit down and organize my morning to

see if I can use it for my commute - that would be the easiest way to get the exercise in, is to make it part of the routine, part of what I need to do every day anyway. Now, it's nearly 11 and due to errands, weigh-in and such, I haven't even had BREAKFAST yet. Gotta go fix that.... Have a great weekend, everyone. Eileen in OR

Yes, I think we will GFG ( Forman Grill) some chix breasts and finish off the bagged spinach...

moved a lot of National Geographics into and out of the storage unit (2 sets of 60 and 70 years worth), so I think I got my Activity Points for today.

But, I will bike tomorrow....

Awesome with the WI this week Eileen! Maintain is great when you have had a couple of questionable meals LOL!! That would be cool if you could organize the bike ride for your commute to/from work.

Work is 3 miles from my home, so I could do something, but it doesn't mesh with transporting kid to/from school. I was doing the after school part until I changed my hours, so now I take him to school and my mother brings him home.

With the rising gasoline prices, when school is out for summer, I do plan to do a commute alternative: walk, bike, bus, etc to ease the costs of driving for 3 months. Already plan that. I have walked it before and it only takes roughly an hour LOL!!

Hope it works into your work schedule.

> Yes, I think we will GFG ( Forman Grill)

We'll be buying a new one of these next week. I dropped ours a few

months ago, cracking off a part of the back of the top. I glued it back

on to cover those exposed wires, and it was working fine until about 3

weeks ago. Sometimes now when I open the lid the grill turns itself off,

back to the rows of dashes. Not good! We just got one of those 20% off

Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons in yesterday's mail, so when hubby geos on

vacation next week that store will be one of our first stops. With the

latest NYC toll increases it now costs us $8 just to get to the store,

so when we hop over that way we make a day of it and hit 2 malls, the

only fabric store within an hour's drive (aside from the fabric district

on Manhattan, which is 3 subways but still an hour away), and &

Noble.

What IS it about that magazine that we hate to throw them away? When we

moved from NJ to Florida in 1999 I brought a box of them with us, then

brought it back when we moved back. I have a whole corner of our small

storage space in this apartment filled with them, as well as a whole

shelf of a bookcase and a pile on the kitchen table. They're everywhere!

LOL

Good luck to everyone for a great week. We had a tiny bit of snow over the weekend (hi, ! How about you?) but it was long gone before nightfall.

We were supposed to get some snow over the weekend, but it must have missed us. If anything, just a dusting was on the ground.

(( knocks on wood )) we haven't gotten any *new* snow to speak of for 3 weeks, tomorrow. Whew!

* who couldn't care less if we didn't get one more snowflake the rest of this season LOL!! A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps!

Down 1.2! This means that, a month later, I have "protected" 5.4 of the 8.6 lbs I lost while sick. This is about a pound a week for the entire 6-week period. I am beyond delighted!

P.s. congrats on holdng off most of that weight you lost while sick!! That's a huge accomplishment!! Yay Eileen!!
