Guest guest
Hi , I am glad to hear that you have made a new resolution to do 40 Life Lift breaths a day!! I knoe that you will lose the 15 lbs. you regained, and that you will lose 15 more after that, and 15 more after that, and so on until you have lost all of your excess weight. Too bad that calories affect so many of us so negatively to such a great extent!!! Don't you just HATE all those people who eat and eat and eat and eat everything and anything regardless of fat grams and carb grams, and NEVER GAIN a pound but ALWAYS stay very thin? It's not fair, is it? Well, anyway, , the best of luck to you with your new diet plans, and thanks for writing to the list again. We all love you and we are all praying for you and rooting for you whether we hear from you or not, but, of course, we ALWAYS love to hear from you!!! Take care, my dear frined, and may God bless you always!!! Love always, Pat freedomcat33 wrote: >Hey there, > >This is the on again off again girl for >a few years now! > >I am just catching up on all of the messages. >Wow, welcome to all the newbies ! Guest guest
Cassie, I am so glad that is doing better. I know you also from the asthma message boards and know what a challenge he was for you medically. Bet he is happy too. --Sange > > I just wanted to let ya'll know that , my youngest, has been on IVIG since march and we have seen a tremendous difference. Previously he would be off the biaxin and within a week or two he would have a sinus infection. He has not had that since mid-march and has only had 2-3 total infections since then and that has been 8 months now. We will continue the infusions till march and then let him go without it and see what happens and go from there. We have gotten to the point of needing the IV specialists to come and establish the iv but this last time even they had to stick twice and , according to jeremiah, it was because we had a female this time. All the other times it has been a guy and they have gotten it the first time every time. > Cassie > mom to 4 kids > Jesika, , Jana and (sickey child) > > > www.marykay.com/cassieredinger > >
Guest guest
Yes he has been a challenge medically. I think he is happy about the health but not happy that he has to have an iv every time we go in. Cassie thdoy2 <Thdoy2@...> wrote: Cassie, I am so glad that is doing better. Guest guest
Hi there people. Sorry I haven't been on line much lately. I would go walk the mall, but it is snowing pretty hard out right now. I don't like to drive in the snow. For the last three weeks I have stayed at 330 pounds. I was doing Slim Fast, but I can't seem to lose any at all. So I am going back to what was really working for me and that is what the Diabetic Clinic taught me to do. I am going to give it at least 3 weeks. If it starts to work again then I will make it my life style. I had lost a lot of weight doing that. When I stopped measuring my food like I was supposed to I ballooned back up. I had gotten down in the 270's. I had started at 340. So that is a major weight loss. I had said I would never get that far back up again and look at me now. I went off my plan and that is when I exploded. I am trying to go to the mall to walk. I have a walking track across the street from my apartment, but my doctor wants me to walk at the mall when the floor is even, because I have arthritis in both my knees. My husband is on the computer a lot. That is part of the reason I haven't been on line much. Well, hopefully I can get on the computer more and chat with ya'll. Have a good day friend. Your friend, from MO.

I bet the diet the clinic had you following will work again, so good for you getting back on it. Walking should get easier again as you lose weight, then you might be ok moving outside for your walks in the summer again. ;-) Hope you had a good weekend!! in WAGoal for Bloomsday 5/4/08: 275.4/253.8/225.4 (28.4 lbs to go!!)310/253.8/170 (-56.2 total, 13.8 from half-way point)You are able, right now, to choose any thought, any action, and any path. Guest guest
>Hi there people. Sorry I haven't been on line much lately. A lot of us have been MIA. Don't worry about it. >I would go walk the mall, but it is snowing pretty hard out right now. I don't like to drive in the snow. I hear ya! Have you tried any of the videos I recommended in the past, the ones for people who are housebound or disabled in some way? You would really benefit from those chair exercises. Our Links page has the urls, IIRC. If you have cable or satellite tv, even mentioned how some of them are on Free On Demand, and I'm sure I saw Sit and Be Fit on some station at 6am or so, like Lifetime or Oxygen. Check your listings and pop a video in to record it - you'll be glad you did. > For the last three weeks I have stayed at 330 pounds. I was doing Slim Fast, but I can't seem to lose any at all. Wouldn't that stuff affect your blood sugars, too? Did your doctor say it was okay to drink them? >So I am going back to what was really working for me and that is what the Diabetic Clinic taught me to do. I am going to give it at least 3 weeks. If it starts to work again then I will make it my life style. , you *know* that food plan works, not just for weight loss (even one pound every other week is progress) but also for keeping your blood sugars stable. You paid the lady to develop it for you, so you may as well use it, right? Especially since you know it does work for you. >I had lost a lot of weight doing that. Stop looking at the scale right now and concentrate on our blood sugars. When you find a food plan that keeps your sugars in good control, then worry about talking to the nutritionist again to tweak it for weight loss purposes. Some of your meds might also be keeping you from losing weight easily, too, remember. >Well, hopefully I can get on the computer more and chat with ya'll. At least try to check in once a week when he leaves for work. Let us know how you're doing, okay? Sue in NJ
