Guest guest
Congrats. Dacia you or should post what you learn each week. It would help a lot out I bet. I am trying WW with just a journal. The journal does help. N.H.Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year.

Hey (and everyone else) - another thought, is that I think SparkPeople has a lot of good tools and articles. You might be able to sign up on ww.com for their newsletter to be emailed to you. I can't remember if I had to be a "member" to get that, or if it was free even before I joined WW. :-) But sure - I'll share what I learn as I go... in WAStart the year off right. Guest guest
> I am trying WW with just a journal. The journal does help. I no longer keep a formal food journal, mostly because every day's breakfast would read " oatmeal and raisins " and almost every lunch would be rice and veggies (1/2 cup rice, 2 cup veg, like broccoli or cauliflower). On my veg list I used to post each day's POA - Plan of Attack - and include the dinner's recipe, but for a long time I was making the same old stuff over and over again. With Henry home for semester break I did try a few new dishes, so wrote about them on that list. What I haven't been writing anywhere were the little between-meal foods - the glass of OJ between breakfast and lunch, the few stay roasted garbanzo beans while making dinner, the banana in the evening, or the occasional potato chips or fig bar cookie, just to finish off the bag one of the guys left on the table. I mean, who leaves 2 potato chips in a bag, or one cookie in a package?? My guys, that's who! But those little bits here and there add up, especially when eaten without thinking, so I really should start writing everything down again, and *before* I eat it, not after. It doesn't do any good doing it *that* way now, does it? Sue in NJ Now how did that cookie get in my hand?

I get so tired of the same things over and over and over again.... maybe it's time for a new cook book or something to start breaking out of ruts. Is your menu something you have on your computer so could email a sample to someone?? Prettie please? in WAStart the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year.
