I ask because I am curious as to whether you get mold hits while outdoors.< I'm in Nevada, Lake Tahoe. Yes I certainly do get mold hits outdoors, but only in places that have been chemically altered. That's what led me to believe that the molds are potentiating complex molecules into " supertoxins " . I was hang gliding over Mt Hull in Northern California when I got swatted out of the sky by mold carried up in a thermal from an area that had been deforested by fire. Very unexpected. I've spent a lot of time thrashing around the sky and it doesn't make me feel so crappy. I had to put a lot of clues together to figure this one out! The area was so inaccessible that the fire was primarily fought with aerial drops of fire retardant. I've been in plenty of moldy places PLUS I've walked through areas freshly exposed to fire retardant but neither bothered me UNTIL the two seem to " work together " for a while. One place that I used to feel great was down at County airport... until a compost farm went in on Airport rd. This airport is where the fire tankers have always been based. But now for some reason, I can't stand the place any more. Not only that but people all though that area are getting sick and the doctors can't figure it out. So you see, I don't bother worrying about molds unless they are producing potentiated toxins. As everybody says " mold is everywhere " . True enough, and life is too short to worry about something that has no effect on you - so I only respond when my senses tell me it is appropriate. -
Guest guest
Can you describe your burning mouth...I missed it.================================================ Nope you didn't miss it. I didn't explain it just mentioned it in passing. It started in August last year. My RAI of 250 mCi's was on 5/23. I was happy when I didn't have many side effects / symptoms and then in August it all fell apart. I stopped having periods and my mouth started to burn. It was constant and painful on the tongue. My ND started giving me aloe powder to swish around but that didn't help. We did vitamin C and detox drinks and nothing made it go away. In Sept I saw an Endo at U of MI and asked her about it. She said it was a B6 deficiency. So I started taking a B5/B6 complex. It got better for a while but then came back. I did not get a period until November 4th. Then they were 19 days apart. So you know that there was a HUGE hormonal issue going on. My Endo that gave me RAI said that he had never heard of anyone having burning mouth. UGH! It is very prominent among high dose patients like me. So I began googling Burning mouth. I found that it seems to appear in post menopausal women. It feels like you mouth was burned with hot soup or coffee all the time. For me it is along the edges of my tongue on both sides. It is not detectible in the morning but as the day goes on it gets more prevalent and sometimes uncomfortable. It seems to be worse around my ovulation time of the month. Dr. Brownstein says that it is hormone related and should clear up as we get my hormones balanced. I hope so because it is annoying! Does that help? At least I am not dry mouthed with pain now that I started Iodine.
