THE LAST CRUISE?

Monday, 04 February 2008

It happens every January. That's when I begin receiving E-mails from people asking if this April's Cruise To Lose will be my very last one. Good question! I mean, let's get serious here. Should I continue doing these cruises, at my age?I mean, many people my age have already retired and are playing golf or tennis four days a week. But, as far as your questions about my doing more cruises, I really don't have an answer for your inquiring minds. I don't know if I want anyone seeing me getting older. But right now, all of my concentration is centered on this year's cruise. And I'm so excited that so many of you will be joining me on this year's voyage to the Mexican Riviera in April.I have scrapbooks containing pictures of all of my cruises from over the years. I always get a kick out of going through them. I can still remember our very first Cruise To Lose. It was just a small group of us but, boy, did we ever have a great time!In fact, after all of these years at sea, there isn't even one cruise where we didn't have a real blast! You see, no one on the high seas or even the low seas, for that matter, has a cruise quite like ours.I remember when I first told someone that I wanted to do a Cruise To Lose. The lady I told it to just about laughed in my face. Since she had taken many cruises in the past, herself, she made sure I understood what happens when people take cruises.People who go on cruises, , she told me, eat like maniacs and do nothing but gain weight while they're on the ship!Oh, yeah? Well, I thought differently. I thought if I could be there on the ship with them, from morning to night, I could make a difference in their cruise experience. I could be a good example for them. I could teach high-energy exercise classes for them. I could eat healthy with them and teach them how to eat healthy, too. And if they all followed the example I set for them...they'd eat right, sweat a lot and get motivated and take the lessons they'd learn home with them to lose more weight, once they got there! And I have to tell you, over the years, thousands and thousands of people have sailed with me. And on each Cruise To Lose, they've laughed and lost weight, too! And that's just what I'm going to do on my 60th birthday cruise in April. My team and I are already working hard to make this the best Cruise To Lose, ever!I'm putting together my music for our exercise classes. Janet P. and I are putting together our motivational seminars. My sweetheart of a friend, W., is already busy booking cabins and answering lots of your questions. Yep, we're getting ready to set sail for fun and motivation, folks!Whenever I think about this cruise, I feel like a bottle of champagne just about ready to pop the bubbly! I'm excited to be having my birthday party in Mazatlan at Senor Frog's! And, yes, while I'm there, I'll have one Jell-O shot. I remember, a few years back, at Senor Frog's, I had two Jell-O shots...okay, three! We all had to be back on the ship by 2:30PM and I had an exercise class to teach at 3PM. Let's just say I don't remember much about that particular workout...at all. LOL!I can't wait to meet everyone, spend time talking with them and getting to help them, too. So many of my friends will be coming on this cruise, including my brother Lenny and his wife, . Oh, this Cruise To Lose is going to be such a real blast...just like always! If you want more information on this year's Cruise To Lose, you can call 1-800-637-8124. I can't wait to meet and see you all in just a couple of months!Love,

Damn, ! At 60 you're just *entering* the prime age for cruisers!

LOL

Too late for that, Dickie! And please, get rid of thsoe short-shorts and

wear something more appropriate for someone your age. Anyone older than

16 who wears those Dolphin shorts should be committed!

Maybe was the first, but a number of people now have healthy

cruises. Dr. McDougall has one to Costa Rica at least once a year,

albeit on a smaller boat than a regular cruise ship.

It was always one of my dreams to be able to afford to go on one of

's cruises. The way things are going, financially, that's never

gonna happen in my lifetime.

So really *is* human afterall? :)
