Guest guest
For those of you that are wondering, wogging is a cross between walking/jogging. More a walk than a jog. Or something like that. LOL! OK. I wanted to wait until the sun came up. It was scary the other morning out wogging in the dark having to watch for the icy patches. So today, I decide to give it until almost 6. No, wait. It was *just* after 6 when I left the house. Wog .75, Walk 1.25 again Sigh. Not quite ready for a mile and definitely not straight wogging for that .75 mile! It's like 1-2 blocks of jogging, then 4-6 blocks of walking LOL!! I know, I know. Baby's aren't born able to talk and walk, they have to build up to it. They have to take BABY STEPS. Who'd a thunk it? So what if it takes me 8 weeks or 8 years to be able to run a mile straight, if ever?? It's not my goal to run the 12K with out stopping, it's my goal to be able to run PART of it. <wink> I know I can do .75 of the 7.46 miles LOL!! So today I was out for 34 minutes, that's an improvement over the other morning by what, 3 minutes?? The new shoes I picked for today's wog are much better than the brick weights I had on the other day. Happier feet and legs. Work doesn't like it that -girl is getting up to exercise before going to work at 8 a.m. LOL!! I'm a little... what would the word be, hyper...? LOL!! I was gonna go get a mocha and one of the girls said you don't need caffeine, how much have you already had? I said NONE - I wogged this morning!! LOL!! She said "ohhhhh it's the exercise endorphins" LOL!! Yep. Yep. Jealous, that's what they are. They sit around and eat all day and do nothing to get healthier. OK - so I went to get this mocha, right... and I got a big jumbo sugar cookie (shamrock shaped for St s day with green frosting).... oh boy! Now. Before you all start lecturing me (LOL) I gotta tell you the rest of this. So, I put that on my desk where I can see it and proceed to get out of my purse my WW 10% keyring with my SAS awards, 25 lb washer-thing, etc and my "CHOICE" and "STRENGTH" stones that I bought and put them there next to my water mug. This is my reminder that I *do* have the CHOICE to eat that cookie and I *do* have the STRENGTH to "tell it" (or myself) NO. OK. Are you ready?? This is getting good. I was going to eat that cookie today. I really was. I was all ready to get a little knife out and start hacking it into bites. And then, a co-worker did something for me that was really important for my client. So, as "payment" and a "thank you", I gave her that cookie!! WOOOOHOOOOO! Yay me!! Now, I could have gone and bought another cookie darnit, but I didn't!! Instead, tonight I will have a WW ice cream bar from my freezer for my dessert. ;-) I hope you are all having a great week - TGIF tomorrow!! Get ready for a great weekend and don't forget to plan ahead for losing an hour of sleep Saturday night!! I'll be back later to check the posts/digests, in WAGoal for Bloomsday 5/4/08: 275.4/251/225.4 (25.6 lbs to go!! 2.8/week ave loss needed - I have faith I will meet this goal !!)310/251/170 (-59 total, 11 from half-way point) The world is constantly changing, and many of those changes can seem frightening.
