Guest guest
Yeah !!! 4 days in a row!!! Good job! I went to north of chicago yesterday what a long trip.... left here at 8am and didn't get home until 6pm. I have NO IDEA how my calories went yesterday! I know I had some trail mix on the way there for breakfast. We stopped at 's for lunch and I had a chicken sandwich. I got home and my daughter had made home made pizza for us. I had 3 slices of that and a few cheese sticks. I took my friend home that went along for the ride and then ate more trail mix and an ice cream drum stick..... went to bed and fell asleep.... it was a long day. Today we get to go to just outside Detroit to pick up a weight machine for him. Hopefully today will be better! I will post a quick weigh in for the day and then I gotta get outta here! a Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now. Ouch that *is* a long day. I don't envy you that at all. When you go on your road trips like this do you pack your lunch/snacks so you aren't caught off guard? At least healthy snacks for the road? Hope the weekend is going great for you. in WANeed a new ride? Check out the largest site for U.S. used car listings at AOL Autos.

Guest guest
I thought about packing my own food, but I took along my husbands friend, and didn't want to force him to eat my healthy food! The man is thin as a rail and eats what ever he wants! I hate people like that! I work with a few of them too!!! Anyhow.... I don't take long trips like this often, just happened to be 2 days in a row. I don't like to get off the freeway, I have a motto... you stop once when you need gas and you pee and eat then and on your way. I like to get to where I am going and then worry about it! I guess I am a bit strange that way. I just hate getting off the freeway in a strange place. aABrite@... wrote: In a message dated 4/19/2008 4:50:34 A.M. Guest guest
> a, I love homemade Pizza. I would have eaten myself sick probably. I make pizza once a week around here, and as soon as it's cut I immediately put one, sometimes 2, slices away for breakfast during the weekend. If I don't do that I *will* eat 4 slices. Hubby eats 4 and looks for more. I make a smaller pie for the kid and some weeks he eats every slice, but when he has leftovers, Ed hops right on them. Guest guest
> The man is thin as a rail and eats what ever he wants! I hate people like that! I grew up with 2 brothers who were like that, and right now hubby can eat non-stop form the time he gets home from work to the time he falls asleep and not gain an ounce. At least genetics caught up with my brothers - as each hit age 50 they, too, now resemble my mom's side of the family, just like I have since I was born. > I don't like to get off the freeway, I have a motto... you stop once when you need gas and you pee and eat then and on your way. My dad was always like that. Even the one hour ride to my grandparents' house down the Jersey shore we always had a cooler in the back seat with snacks and drinks. The boys got chips and cookies and bottles of Coke, I got a bag full of carrot sticks and a thermos of water. Sue in NJ
Guest guest
My dad traveled like that too. My hubby and I don't! He has learned that when I gotta go to the bathroom -- he had better be finding a place soon! Dacia<><Deaf Lutheran Missionswww.DeafJesus.org Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
