Guest guest
, What kind of meds did Dr. Shoemaker give you? Was it just the CSM or did he give you other meds. Which blood tests did you have? I'm seeing him in 3 weeks. I'm getting a script for Carafate to coat my digestive tract to see if I can tolerate it better, but I think my sinuses are so screwed up that it's going to take more than that. I hope that your familly does well with the protocol. Kathy <blackmold@...> wrote: Good Morning Everyone!!!! We just got back last night, from visiting Dr. Shoemaker. He is wonderful. Very kind. The kids did wonderful until they found out we had to do blood work. That was a nightmare. But, we now have our prescriptions for their meds. I will try to get them today. The hotel was great, kids had a blast there. Thanx for the suggestions about the Duke t-shirts. We made them and the office loved them. Our visit only took about 2 hours. I had asked him about Ridlin (spelling ?) but he said to give the meds sometime to work, we shouldn't need it. The kids should be getting back to themselves within a couple of weeks. I won't know what to do if my children are back to how they were 4 years ago. Their lives will be so much better. Hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected or better. and kids FAIR USE NOTICE:
Guest guest
Hi Kathy, My understanding is that kids are treated different than adults as to blood tests. Adults get around 25-30 vials taken, with extensive labs. Kids get I believe it was 6, and just the important labs are ran. He will run a DNA lab, and compare it to mine. He started them on the CSM treatment, and gave them laxitive & acid reflux prescriptions also. (just in case) It will take approx. 3 weeks for the labs to come back. He thinks the kids will have to start a special diet after the labs come back. (No sugar, flour, you know) But if it helps get them better I'll have to do it, and so will they. I just think it will so hard. Something he said I found very interesting and had never heard it for. After talking to me for awhile, he mentioned that people exposed to mold do not hear the first sentence when they are spoken to. So you may think the person is not listening to you, but in reality they just didn't hear it. I had never heard that before. So, that will help me hear at home. I will say stuff to the kids and my husband, and they just sit there, like I'm not even talking. (it is about to drive me crazy) But now that I know this I will try to be more understanding. Had anyone else heard this? Good Luck, you will really like him. Re: [] Re:Our visit to Dr. Shoemaker > , > > What kind of meds did Dr. Shoemaker give you?
