GOING TO NEW YORK...AGAIN!

Well, I leave in a little while for the Big Apple! I have two full days of press to do while I'm there.Wednesday morning, I'm on NBC's Today. I'll be on in the 10:00 hour to talk about PE in schools. I'll be outside on the Plaza with a great group of school kids. We're going to do a toning routine using dumbbells. The kids and I are going to do some of the same exercises we all use to get toned.

I'll be on Today with my old friend Kathie Lee Gifford. I met Kathie many years ago when she CO-hosted what was then Regis & Kathie Lee with Regis Philbin.Kathie is the new host of Today's fourth hour and I was thrilled to hear they she had joined the show. I sent her two dozen pale pink roses and the card read, "It's so nice to have you back where you belong!"After Today, I'll head over to CNBC to do a show called The Big Idea With Donny Deutsch. He was a big advertising executive and has been very successful. Now he has a show where he interviews people about how they can achieve success.After The Big Idea, I'll go over to do a story for Entertainment Tonight. It's a surprise so I can't tell you what it's about. You'll just have to watch and be, well...surprised! After that, I'll return to my hotel and get ready for the next day of press.There's a very popular morning show in New York City called Good Day New York. I'll start off Wednesday morning with an appearance on that show. Then let me tell you what I'll be doing next...

I'll be heading over to do a Deen's show for the Food Network! Now I will tape the show on Thursday but it won't air until the Halloween season. I've never met a but I've seen her on a few shows in the past. Oh goodness, is she ever funny! If you've seen her shows then you know her recipes are all so full of fat...they just scare me! a's gonna make a dish using all those edible "toys of the devil" and I'll be making the same dish the healthier way! Shhhh, I'll be bringing a a little gift that I know she'll get a chuckle out of, too!Oh, and since this will be her Halloween show, a and I will be wearing costumes. Okay, I'll go ahead and tell you how we're dressing up: a will be all dolled up...as a stick of butter, what else? And me? Well, I'll be right beside her as a slice of thin bread! LOL. I'm not kidding and you'll see, come Halloween!After I'm done, I'll have a few meetings in Manhattan before heading to the airport and home for Los Angeles.

I'm so looking forward to going on all of these shows and talking about putting physical education back into our public schools. It's really kinda sad to see how our presidential candidates aren't talking about this problem at all. Let me see how many people I can get to visit my website and send those candidates a letter supporting our cause.Well, I'd better finish packing. I tried to put the dogs in one of my suitcases but they just wouldn't fit! I want you to do me a favor while I'm away too, okay? And that is to please balance your meals and get those workouts in while I'm away in NYC.Blue skies, here I come!Love,
