Guest guest
Hi everyone! I managed 15 minutes on the bike today. I am feeling so much better today it is almost scary!!! LOL... I took my 10 yr old into the dr and they are not sure what is going on with her based on her blood results. They are now sending her to an pediatric endocronologist. I am waiting to hear back from them. I am concerned that she is insulin resistant. 5'1 " and 147lbs, ring around the back of the neck and dark patch on the front. She is wanting to lose some weight as well so I have been trying to " show her the way " , but it is difficult when the other 3 around the house eat a bit differently from me, and she has to make the choice between my food and theirs. She seems to make the wrong choice most of the time and I do NOT want to make a big deal out of it at the moment. Not until we figure out what is going on. Her glyco-hemaglobin was 5.9 still in normal range but high if you ask me for a 10 yr old. I have had some elevated fasting levles with her. I thought finally I can tell the Dr that something is going on and they will help out. Well her labs came back all in the normal range except her T3 which was high and concerning. I guess we will wait and see. Anyhow... my whole point to this was I hoped on the Dr's scales and I am sooooo close to the 360's that I can almost taste it!!!! I haven't been there since I started this list years ago and was working very, very hard and ended up sick, then I hit 362, but never lower then that since 1990/1991. Hopefully by the end of the week I will be in the 360's and then on to the 350's!!!!! Hope everyone has a great St. s day! a
