Hi all..

Today has gone well as far as food... so far I am at 1308, far from my

daily limit. I have read that I should have anywhere between 1800 and

2100 a day for my weight. After looking over the past couple of weeks

I average betwen 1700 and 2000 a day. I guess all in all I'm doing

well. Still have a bit of sinus prolbems, but mostly just crud in my

lungs now. This means no exercise as of yet. I really would like to

be able to get back to it this week.

I did work today, but wished I hadn't. I felt miserable for the first

2-3 hours. It also messes up my food for the day.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Lack of appetite from not feeling well, or just a low day for calories? Either way, hope you start feeling better soon so you can get back to your workout.

We had hail and sleet for a few hours one day last week. The weather

people on tv said although it *is* a bit early, it's not a record

breaker for our area, that we've had snow much earlier than this in

the past. Still, it's very depressing to see that first one come

down!

broccoli. It was a hit: no leftovers!

This was a standard meal I made when I was working full time. I had

to stop it because of the salt, then later because it had way too

many calories.

but thinking another crock pot scenario. I love my crock pot,

it's easy to do, easy (sort of) to clean up LOL!!

I have a number of crockpot cookbooks, and there are a few

interesting blogs out there dedicated to crockpot cooking, too. Even

though I rarely made any of the recipes featured, this blog I

followed for a long time, A Year of Slowcooking:

http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/

She made a different recipe each day for a full year using her

crockpot.

I know you *can* get low sodium soups, but I know they were

"regular"...

The lower sodium soups *are* lower than the regular but still way

too high for a person who is salt sensitive like me. And they taste

so different, too. The charm of the cream of- canned soups is their

saltiness. I still have one or 2 family-sized cans in the pantry.

One of these days I'll surprise Ed with a tuna noodle casserole.

He'll have so much leftover I won't have to cook for him for at

least 2 days.
