Developed in India, Ayurveda, meaning " the science of life, " is a natural healing system that incorporates meditation, diet, herbal remedies, and other lifestyle changes as a means of promoting overall health. However, since there are no federal regulations on herbal medicines, it is hard to be sure of what you are ingesting when taking any herbal remedies. While the Food and Drug Administration has yet to confirm the results, a recent study has shown that some HMPs manufactured in South Asia contain toxic lead levels. Ingested lead can cause high blood pressure, abdominal pain and even seizures in adults and slow growth or impaired IQ in children. The study researchers suggest that all HMPs be tested for heavy metal content before being sold to consumers. ________________ --- tigerpaw2c <tigerpaw2C@...> wrote: > City hall moving because of mold > ville, MO > No timeline has been set for the move. ____________________________________________________ Sports Rekindle the Rivalries.
