Last night, I set a goal to get up and go wogging this morning since I haven't been out on the streets officially since the 12K at the beginning of the month.

I woke up at 7:30 a.m. after another <weird> dream (not pizza induced this time, though - LOL!) This time, and I can't remember any details, it was about my sister, who has been deceased since 1986 (22 years??) - holy cow!

So. Wogging. Yep. I woke up at 7:30 and for 30 minutes, tried to convince myself there were good reasons to NOT have to go (LOL) - I mean, I did log 16000-plus steps yesterday! It was cool, windy, a holiday, etc. If you can name it, it probably went through my head as an excuse to not want to or have to.

Finally! At 8 a.m. I decide to JUST DO IT, GIRL! So I threw on my workout clothes, grabbed my iPod and went out the door. I *forced* myself to wog a total of a mile, so with my intervals, I was out there a total of 3 miles. I kept telling myself it doesn't matter if I walk 5 miles, I am wogging a mile before I am done LOL!! Oh.My.Gosh. Fifty-one minutes to go 3 miles - not bad, that is 17 min/mile.... and, it may have been broken up by intervals, but I got a mile done!

Other than the fact that I was forced to workout today, it felt good (??) to be out there wogging. It's definitely a different workout than walking or jogging on the trampoline!

Anyway. I have 2 younger boys coming over today (I think) for the holiday. I feel bad because I got nuthin' planned. I'd really rather wait until it is warmer to do something, ya know?? I am sure we'll throw something together. Youngest ds was convinced the city pools open today since it is "the start of summer" LOL - but after massive eSearching, I found the pools do not open until June 16th.

WOW - May is almost over.

I was just over surfing some of the blogs over at EP (ExtraPounds) and Miss V commented about her ultimate goal(s) for May and what she needs to accomplish this week to get there and it made me think: it's time to start thinking of the June goals! If I were on track for my year-long goal of 5 lbs a month, I would have lost 25 lbs at the end of May. I think I am at 10 lbs gone after a little brief yo-yoing this year. Sigh. 10 lbs is better than nothing, so I won't beat myself up. I am just stepping things up now for the rest of the year, though <wink>

I don't want to rush the end of the month for you and then the new month, but have you started to think of where you want to be at the end of June? Come on! At the end of June, the year is half over!

Have you spent the first half of the year wisely: making healthier eating choices and exercising more to get in better shape, etc?
