Guest guest
Well. I don't know that we can have a January vacation without the "issues" associated with flying out to CA. Thursday, there were "air traffic delays" associated with Seattle, WA and air traffic. More so than weather. Delay, delay, delay. I was supposed to fly through San Fran on to San Obispo, where hunny lives. They (airline) finally decided it was better to route me through LAX instead and I was *only* 1.5 hrs late arriving. This is much, much better than other issues I have had to deal with flying. The visit was LOVELY (as always, a spoiled girlfriend) :-) Coming home yesterday. Fogged out of Spokane!! Oh.My.Gosh!! So, while I was dealing with booking flights for today and finding luggage, etc hunny booked me a hotel so I didn't have to sleep in a chair. Today was almost just as bad. Our 8 a.m. flight was delayed due to the fog. Supposed to hopefully leave around 10 a.m., but then airline A decided to re-book us through airline B that seemingly wasn't having the same issue. I was booked through United and if any of you fly on those EMB120's (puddle hoppers) - they are not equipped to land in OUR fog!! We were booked through Horizon today and they managed to get us in. So, I only missed a 1/2 day of work. My manager was very understanding, especially when I said it was fog related!! I should have him scan a picture of me with this new blouse he bought me. I'm a solid size 20 now, and as most of you know, the sizing goes 18-20 and 22-24, so of course I want to get into the 18-20s so badly, but they are a tad tight on "the girls" up front, so Jay... he won't let me buy them yet so that I don't accentuate any negatives (LOL!!) so <sigh> I am still in the 22-24 size "this time" - I told him NO SHOPPING in Feb when I go next!! Then hopefully, when all the spring clothes are due out for shopping, I will be close enough and can get those 18-20s!! :-) OK - it would not be a "diet related" post without a comment about the food choices this weekend. Hopefully there isn't too much of a retention issue this week. I think other than my Curves egroup, I didn't post the 2.2 loss for me last week yet. Wanna keep the downward trend. Thursday - "lunch" in airport Thursday - dinner - don't ask (LOL!!) - cheeseburger 'n onion rings (we shared the rings and I didn't eat all the bread for the burger) Friday - IHOP for breakfast - not bad, I only ate 1/2-3/4 of my food Friday - Olive Garden for dinner - GREAT choice: I got the mango or something or other chicken or "Healthy Selection" menu with steamed veggies, had salad (I don't think their salad is "bad" and only 1 breadstick) Saturday - breakfast at home, not bad Saturday - lunch - fish restaurant by the ocean, not bad really Saturday - dinner @ home - mmmmmmm steak and veggies, brown rice ;-)~ Sunday - breakfast at home, not bad Sunday - lunch and dinner - in airports - yuk!! Not "yuk" at my choices in the airports, just that I think I have had enough bread (via sandwiches) for a good week or two!! Exercise was good. Walking. LOTS of walking!! OK - Since you gathered that I did not get home as planned last night, I have *tons* to do and will try to get caught up with at least reading the posts during the week. Not sure about responding (LOL) - may need to cut my losses with just reading this time around. in WA310/258.2/170 (WW Flex) - 2.2 this week!!)WOOOOHOOOOO - 51.8 lbs gone!!2008 Goal: 198.6 or 60 lbs lost (amount to goal 59.6 = ave/week 1.1 lbs)Do not ask the Lord to guide your footsteps, if you are not willing to move your feet.-AnonymousStart the year off right.
