Guest guest
Thank you all for the very candid advice. I truly appreciate it. I went to work today and printed out the email and attachments about this gym membership offering. Here's the deal on the gym: Cost: Single $19, Family $27 (not bad - cheaper than Curves LOL!! And, I could sign up the kids too under the family option)Hours: Mon-Fri 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sat/Sun 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. (me likie) Pool offerings: water aerobics 6 days a week, open swim, adult lap swimGroup fitness classes: Body Combat, Step, Pump, Attack, RPM (Spin), Circuit training and YogaOther Amenities: Indoor Running Track, Racquetball Courts, Tanning Beds (this is exciting, I want to tan!!), Indoor Pool, Hot Tub, Personal Trainers (weight room), Women's Only Facility (similar to Curves) I am no longer on contract with Curves, so I really think I am going to suspend/cancel my membership and then decide over the summer. My monthly renewal is up the 15th and I believe you have to give them one-month written notice, so if I turn it in by the 15th of April, I should be done May 15th. And, I can do other things through the summer and decide. Reason I may wait through the summer, is another option is Jazzercise, which I know I can go for a free class if I want to. So, I will do that: write up Curves' letter, talk with gym, go to Jazzercise. Hope you all had a great day today - I will try to get back and read the posts later. in WA310/249.0/170 (-61 total, 79 to go, 9 from half-way point) I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm telling you it's going to be worth it! -Art Planning your summer road trip?
