WORKIN' ON THE CRUISE

Here it is, near the end of March and in just about a month, I'll be taking hundreds of people with me on my birthday Cruise To Lose to the Mexican Riviera. And, oh...I have so much work to do preparing for this special cruise.Janet P. has been helping me a lot. Together, we're putting together the music I'll be using to teach my exercise classes on the cruise. It's been so much fun working with her. As we choose the songs, it's so funny because we know the words to practically every one of the songs we select!

I can't wait to get in the ship's big show room so's I can shake my booty! And I love bringing people on stage with me. From there, they can see all of the other people sweatin' with us in class. What a celebration to see that sea of smiling faces!I'm so excited about teaching class on our ship, the Carnival Pride. In fact, after I finish writing this message, I'm going to put on one of the CDs Janet and I have selected and go work out all by myself!Janet is also working on our Cruise To Lose workbook. Everyone joining us on the cruise receives a copy.Today is also the day that W. and I sit down to begin discussing and designing the tank-tops I'll be wearing on board the ship. We always have so much fun sitting down together, thinking up and putting our design ideas down on paper before she turns those designs into wearable works of art.We came up with a design, once, that ended up looking like a logo from that old TV show, Twilight Zone. You remember, the circular one with all of those turning lines that reached into infinity. Whew! Well, no to that one. I didn't want to end up hypnotizing anyone while I was teaching exercise class!

Today's the day I change my New Balance Cross Trainer shoes. That way, they'll be all comfortable and broken in for a full month before these little feet of mine have to walk and exercise in them on a moving ship!And finally, today's the day I look at the names of all the people who will be joining me on the cruise next month. Now I know a lot of you will not be going on the cruise but if you're a Clubhouse member, you can join us on our Cyber Cruise. By taking the Cyber Cruise, that means for the seven days we're at sea, you'll be able to "join" us with all the things we do at sea, right there at home.

You'll get the menus of the meals we'll be having for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus, much of the information in the Cruise To Lose workbook will be available to you in the Clubhouse. You'll know where we are and what we're doing each day we're at sea. Darlene F., who is working on the Cyber Cruise, will be putting up lots of pictures of many of our cruise activities. It'll be the next best thing to your being there with us!So now you know what I'll be doing today after I teach class at Slimmons. I hope that whatever you have planned for this Saturday that you'll be having just as much fun as me!Love,
