Guest guest
REALLY DON'T EAT THAT MUCH Tuesday, 24 June 2008 I spent a lot of time on the phone yesterday catching up on all of the calls I needed to make to those people who needed an extra push. You know, that extra little push to lose weight. And I have to share with you something I noticed. See, a lot of the people I talked to yesterday repeated a line I've heard many times before over the years. Now before I give you that line, I want you to remember that many of these people I spoke to yesterday weigh anywhere from 200 to 350 pounds. They talked to me about how their weight crept up on and them and why they thought it had crept up on them. And when I asked them all about their eating habits, I often got a very similar response, (and here comes the line), ", I don't understand why I keep gaining weight because I really don't eat that much!"And when I hear those words, I have to say to myself, "Oh, yes you do!"See, after they tell me that they really don't eat that much, well, that's when I have some really serious points for them to ponder. I make them see for themselves that, in spite of what they may think, they are still overeating. Here's the way it is. Sometimes we eat things and we forget we've eaten them. Like, did you forget that little pre-breakfast you had before your actual breakfast? Did you forget that bag of M & M's you had before lunch? Did you forget that extra roll you took at dinner time? And while it may be easy enough for you to forget in your head, believe me, your body and certainly your scale doesn't forget! The bottom line is that everything you put into your mouth counts. In other words, you are what you eat. You become overweight and obese by consuming extra calories and extra fat grams...daily. And I'm sorry to say it's something you've become used to doing. You've been eating this way for such a long time that you have conditioned your body to those bad eating patterns. And hey, I'm not letting myself off the hook either because I used the eat the same way. Oh yes, I used to eat whatever and when-ever I wanted. That's how I ended up becoming obese and the truth is that simple! And that's why I created Deal-A-Meal many years ago which has turned itself into my present FoodMover program. Millions of people use the FoodMover to help them be more accountable to themselves about what and how much they eat. And to be really accountable about your eating patterns, you have to journal what you eat and drop those windows on your FoodMover as you eat throughout the day. You've got to be aware of what you eat and keep track of it. When people first start out with the FoodMover, they're usually very shocked to see how much food and how many calories they've been eating. And they're also shocked to see the amounts of food their bodies actually need to eat while losing weight and becoming healthy. If you're overweight or obese and don't think that you eat that much, I suggest you write down what you're eating everyday for a whole week. You'll probably be surprised when you see for yourself the amount of food you've actually been eating.Cut the calories. Cut the fat grams. And I mean cut them both to healthy limits. Do those two things and you'll cut your weight, too and never be called overweight again. Love,
Guest guest
I have to say I believe those people who say they don't eat that much. I've seen lots of heavy people who to me eat like birds. I think it's because quality is so much more important than quantity. If you eat the right foods, you can eat until your satisfied. Eat the wrong foods that can only be used for energy or spike up certain hormones, you gain weight.Luv,Debby in San , CA147 pounds lost! 100% of health issues reversed!Group: curingcandida/Website: http://www.naturallythriving.comCurrently studying for Nutrition license and PhD in Psychology----- Original Message ----From: Sue in NJ REALLY DON'T EAT THAT MUCHTuesday, 24 June 2008I spent a lot of time on the phone yesterday catching up on all of the calls I needed to make to those people who needed an extra push.
