Guest guest
3/27/08 and snowing in Spokane, Washington, USA I'm sorry, but this needs to STOP!! I am tired of this already!! I have to giggle though, because studded snow tires are supposed to be off the 31st and now this happens!! I can manage, I don't drive with studded tires I don't know why, but I was in EAT mode last night. I wasn't bored, stressed, angry. Maybe I was agitated. Not sure. But I was eating. Need to heed my own advice and go check my day-planner to see where I am in the cycle of PMS/TOM. Thankfully, today starts my new week food/points-wise, so I feel better about things. I went shopping last night and bought a pr of shorts and a tank top for summer. I bought a 16/18 for both. The tank fits now and the shorts, I have about 10-15 lbs to lose before they would be comfortable. Especially for venturing out of the house into public LOL!! This is so exciting to breaking through the barrier on clothing sizes because now I can look in the "Womens" section and not just the "PLUS size" section, ya know? The 16/18 are considered XL vs the normal 123X I have been wearing. ! I am wearing a size 20 skirt today - I am not sure of the fashion terms - but it is a slim skirt. Dang, I need to get some technology training so I can take and post pictures of all of this stuff!! One day I asked my ds to take a picture of me and email it to me and he wouldn't do it, so plan B.... I gotta figure out how to do it myself. THIS is more exciting than a weigh-in!! Any day!! Hunny is <maybe> going to place a bid on a house in the next couple of weeks. The first thing I asked him? How big is my shoe closet??!! LOL!! After his comment to me that I am in shoe overload. LOL!! ***** I don't know about the rest of you, but I *used* to hate wearing panty hose. Let's be realistic: at 310 lbs, they aren't comfortable, let alone easy to find in sizes to fit. I have bought 4x ones in the past and hated them because they roll at the waist or are still too snug to be comfortable, or don't fit right in the "crotch" area (sorry, but it's true) so what do you do: refuse to wear them. I stand by the theory that they (work) can't make me wear them LOL - and, we are business-casual enough, that they really don't care. No one has ever "called me" on it. So. One thing I forgot to mention about this size 20 slim skirt that I was wearing today...? It is knee-length LOL!! Usually, in the past, I am wearing mid-calf length skirts. OK - so my CALVES show today - and I can finally wear panty hose (and be comfortable - size 3x no less) and my work partner and I are going down for a coffee break and she says this to me (yes, outloud!) "holy <cow> you have muscular calves!" LOL!! I don't know, it must be all the wogging I am doing lately, and sticking to my Curves workouts when I can, but a lot of people have been commenting more lately about the weight change differences! Finally. 60 lbs ALMOST are gone. I really am banking on reaching this at weigh-in this week! I was thinking: I could almost pull off only losing another 60 lbs (190) and being happy and have that be my goal. BUT I want to wait until I get in that neck of the woods and speak with my doctor. I want to be healthy more than I want to be slim and I will never be skinny. That is why I changed my goal from 155 to 170, because I couldn't get over thinking it looks too skinny. Of course, being female and allowed to change my mind at any moment, I could change my mind again and go back to that as a goal weight. IF the picture goes away, but when you are picturing anorexia or something, you kinda shy away from it. I need to hit the streets for my 3 miles. Not sure how much will be "running" and how much will be walking. I'm way behind in the posts, so will try to get caught up later or this weekend (as always, sigh). in WA310/251.8/170 (-58.2 total, 11.8 from half-way point) Success is a consistent pattern more than it is an isolated event.
