Guest guest
A DAY WITH JIMMY! Wednesday, 02 April 2008 Did you ever watch Jimmy Kimmel Live!? He's on ABC-TV late night, right after Nightline. To make his show even funnier, every now and then, he does these very big production sketches and he's really well-known for them. He did one once with Matt Damon and another one with Ben Affleck.Jimmy's sketches are a little edgy but always hysterical. They're shown all over the world because they are so good and so funny! Well tomorrow night, Jimmy is hosting the 1000th episode of his show on ABC so it's sort of like an anniversary for him. Nightline will even be preempted to make way for Jimmy's show which will be a 90-minute special tomorrow night. And guess who's going to be a guest on Jimmy's show as well as star in one of his big production sketches? Me! Oh, it was such fun and a whole lotta work, too. In fact, I was with Jimmy for ten whole hours to put our big production together! Now I don't want to tell you too much about it but I'll tell you a little. See, the premise is that I take Jimmy on a journey to find good health. And how do I accomplish my goal? Well, with the aid of my little old magic wand, of course!Oh no, I gave the magic wand bit away! (Me and my big mouth.) There are some other people in the sketch and one of the gentlemen is Mr. Sam Elliott. Oh. I simply adore Sam. Not only is he a great actor but he's a very nice man, too. He's married to Katharine Ross who I first saw in the movie, Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid. And of course many of you will remember her, (I know I do), from the original version of that brilliant movie, The Stepford Wives. Sam and Katharine have loved each other for 30 years and have a beautiful 25 year-old daughter.Oh, no! Now I've given the Sam Elliott bit away...I've done it again! This mouth of mine has just got to be stopped. And wait until you see the dance Jimmy and I do with a room-full of Hip Hop dancers. Wait, I've gotta stop now. In fact, I'd better head to the bathroom and wash my mouth out!So tomorrow night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, you'll get to see the sketch. I'll be the first guest on. Tomorrow night's other two guests will be Eva Longoria from Desperate Housewives and Kid Rock will be performing. To tell you the truth, I'm a little nervous about being on the show and I know I shouldn't be. I mean, after all, I just spent ten whole hours with Jimmy! But I think it's okay to have a few butterflies in your stomach. Hey, it's better than having a few hamburgers in there! So watch the show tomorrow night and I hope you get a few good chuckles.I would like to thank Jimmy, Wayne, Jill and an unbelievable cast and crew who all worked so hard on this fabulous production with me!Love,
