Yesterday was a really bad day for me. I was going to allow myself to have one piece of my mom's retirement party cake and 1 piece turned into 3 pieces total. I also ate 2 flour tortillas (with fajitas) and some other high carb stuff. I really blew the south beach diet way out into the sea. So, I felt like crap, really sluggish and sleepy and I know it was from all that bad food I ate. I have been feeling better and more energized since eating healthier, but yesterday was not for want. I just lost my mind yesterday. I can not have 1 piece of cake. It just doesn't work. So, last night I decided I would go back on phase 1 for a day or 2 to kick the cravings that have started from eating all that sugar. I tried, but I broke down and had some fruit. So , I will have to try again tomorrow. Today wasn't a bad day, I just didn't get in to phase 1 like I wanted to. Anyway, here is what today

looked like. Breakfast; 3 slices turkey breast, 2 string cheese 1 cup strawberries Lunch: 1 bratwurst 1 cup of chilli and cheese Dinner: 3 slices of turkey breast 2 string cheese 1 cup grapes Snacks 3 sugar free fudgesicles So, there you have it. Tomorrow I will try to do better and get in some veggies. I am not much of a veggie eater. Never have been. So, I have to force the veggies down. emily
