Weigh in and Brother Update

Morning everyone!!!

Fist off, thanks for all of the prayers for my brother they seem to be

working! The surgery went off well, they removed part of his

esophagus, quite a bit of his stomach and a little piece off of his

lung. He called my dad the day after surgery and sounded like nothing

had happened. He had gotten up and walking and did the " square " (ya

know the hall way between the rooms and around) one and a half times.

The surgeon said most people who have had this type of surgery are

not able to do this until 3 days post op, he was not even 24 hours

post op. I think part of it is that he is in good health. He was

running 2-4 miles every day even during treatment. Hopefully the

recovery is quicker then expected and much less painful.

Now for my weigh in. This week has me at 353.8 (if the scales are

right, the LO sign came on shortly afterward so I was not able to hop

back on to verify. That will put me down 7.2 lbs this week. Yep, the

water is leaving even though TOM showed up this week. This is my

lowest " official " weigh in.

I hope everyone else is having a good week! I have been reading the

posts, but with trying to get things done around here I haven't been

able to reply too much. Oh and on the construction worker front, you

can send him my way.... hummmm a deterrent you say? I don't think so

Congrats to him! Hopefully the rest of his recovery go just as easy as

this part has.

LO??

You mean low battery?

Mine never gives a warning - just gives a wonky reading and when you

step back on it to verify it's dead.

Send over this way - I'll actually give him some construction work to

do. Yeah, I'd rather get free work done on the aunt's house than sex at

this point.
