Guest guest
Hello, I would like to know if anyone developed psoriasis while living or working in a moldy environment? The article I was reading http://www.psoriasisconnect.com/explained/immune_system.jsp says that psoriasis is an autoimmune disease and that the immune system is suppose to protect you by attacking bacteria, viruses and foreign invaders but that for unknown reasons the immune system gets confused and instead of attacking foreign invadors it starts attacking your own body. I developed psoriasis while living in our moldy house. No one else in our family history has it and I am the only one that was living in the house that got it. My son had various rashes that would come and go while we lived there, my daughter has hypersensitivity pnemonitis to aspergillus mold but no one else got this psoriasis. I would love to hear from anyone else that has psoriasis that thinks they have it from living in a moldy environment. Thanks,
