Guest guest
THE PLAN Sunday, 06 July 2008 So how'd you all do last week? Were you on the plan? Did you eat really good, nutritious meals? Did you prepare those meals yourself? Did you drink eight glasses of water, daily. Did you work out six or seven days last week? Did you tone your muscles and stretch your bones? Did you get on the scale? And...did you lose weight last week? Yeah? And what did you lose? A half-pound? A pound? More? Now if the answer to most of those questions I asked you is no then, chances are, you weren't on plan last week. You may have been on plan Monday or Tuesday for a few hours but that's really not like being on plan for the whole week. And if you're off your plan, well, how do you expect to get the weight off? That's why, today, I'm going to be your Plan Man! Okay first, where is your calendar? I want you to get it out and look at it. Look at the next seven days and plan them. Do you have all the foods in the house that you'll need to eat healthy for the next seven days? Which fruits do you have in your kitchen for the next week and which vegetables? Do you have fresh chicken breasts and ground turkey in your freezer? How's about yams and brown rice? You must have seven breakfasts, seven lunches and seven healthy dinners planned for the week ahead. Check your kitchen and if you don't have what you need for next week, then get to the market and get the items you need...today. I don't want you to wake up in the morning saying to yourself, " There's nothing in the house for me to eat! " Uh-uh...no more of that kind of whining! I want you to do me a little favor for tomorrow. Before you go to bed tonight, fill eight glasses with water and place them in the fridge. They'll be all chilled by morning and what I want you to do is be sure and drink them all eight glasses by the end of the day. It's just a little test to make sure you're drinking the eight glasses of water your body needs everyday. And what's with the exercise you have planned for next week? Will you do some of my workouts or will you swim, cycle or maybe even go ballroom dancing? What amount of weights will you use this week when you work to tone your muscles? What time will you do your morning and evening stretches? And what nice things are you planning to do, just for you next week? You have to plan all of this today so you can start off your new week in a great way tomorrow! PLAN your week and you'll have a nice physique!
