Guest guest
Here are the results from the first laboratory test of our apartment. The tests were done by tape-lifting samples from an area we felt was most contaminated. The " scale " for the testing is as follows: 1x = Trace (less than 10 count) 2x = Minor (between 10 - 20 count) 3x = Major (between 21 - 50 count) 4x = Abundant (greater than 50 count) RESULTS: Alternaria 4x Arthrinium 2x Aspergillus 4x Penicillium Hypal-like 4x Fragments Myxomycete 1x Fibers 4x Other Pollen 1x Debris 4x Anyone have advice / info? We have not been staying in the apartment and are going to court next week. We narrowed the source of the mold down to the adjoining wall between our apartment and our neighbors. There are only 4 apartments per building, 2 up and 2 down. This, of course, is the wall where the majority of the plumbing is located. Our neighbor reports, as do we, absolutely NO WATER PRESSURE ... would this be an indicator of a major leak in the pipes somewhere between the water- main to the building and our apartment(s)? Your advice is very much appreciated.
