Guest guest
Honestly, I am not sure what I am doing this week for exercise. It feels strange to not have a plan. I need to think this out and plan something, eh? Tuesday - walk, that's about my strength level right now - hips/knees are speaking to me, maybe 1-2 miles Wednesday - Thursday - Friday - Saturday - Heart Walk - 1 or 3 mile walk Sunday - Mother's Day - walk 2 or 3 miles Menu? Gah, I have no clue on that either LOL! I need to sit down and plan that one also. Mom was nice enough to fix dinner for us Sunday night so I didn't have to cook. I got home from the race and took a 2-hr nap and then got up and we did dinner and laundry and I was back in bed around 8 or so LOL!! Steps-wise, I came in at 23669 for the day, which *was* almost 12 miles worth of steps!! Monday night, I treated ds to McD's for Cinco de Mayo LOL!! OK - burgers aren't exactly food for that holiday, but we had the healthy tacos option following Sunday's event and I didn't think he'd be too impressed with that two days in a row. After Saturday's walk, I am scheduled for the Cherry Picker's Trot (LOL) on 7/17/08 - which is a 4 mile event. I need to dust off the c25k stuff and get a plan to "train" for this.... LOL!! You know, be sure I can handle 4 miles!! (( Ya think: I just did a 7.5 miler )) Hope you all are having a great week so far and I'll try to get caught up with the posts as the week progresses. Hugs - p.s. see my official 12K finish time in my siggy :-)The race photos website has been slammed and I can't get on yet to see if I can find my finish line pic.... if/when I can, if it's worth buying I'll post the pic in the files section <wink> in WA310/250.6/170 (-59.4 total, 80.6 to go, 10.6 from half-way point) My OFFICIAL Bloomsday time: 2:01:57 Finished 23818 out of 42697 with an average pace per mile of 16:20 (average pace of my age/gender bracket 14:59)Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
