Guest guest
SUN CITY MOTIVATED ME! Sunday, 22 June 2008 I've returned to Los Angeles with some happy memories from my weekend. I had a super time teaching class in Traverse City, Michigan! I got to see a lot of the same folks I saw from last year's conference. And many of them had success stories to share about how much weight they'd lost. And what I love most about the people who share their weight-loss success with me is how happy their faces get as they share their stories with me. Their eyes and their cheeks, right along with their smiles tell me how happy they are. They gave me big hugs and thanked me, as they just simply glowed! Yesterday, I had the privilege of going to Sun City, an active-living residential community in Charlotte, North Carolina. I met people there in their 50's, 60's, 70's and even in their 80's. And the beautiful part is that they all seemed so youthful. They were so excited to have me there teaching an exercise class for them. I loved seeing all of their happy faces! I got them to stretch their bodies really well and then we just danced, danced, danced! I just love to see people work out. It's what really makes me work out, if you want to know the truth. I feel their energy. I feel their excitement and it makes me feel like a kite in the sky on the 4th of July! People came up to me after class and told me how many years they've been watching me. And get this, one lady came up to me and said, "I've waited for so long to do this"...and then she pinched me on the butt! (Oh, my!) I'm not kidding! She laughed after her little pinch and said, "It was as firm as I thought I would be!" Is that cute or what?So here I sit on this Sunday thinking about how lucky I am. How blessed I am that God has let me add so much fun to people's lives. Later this afternoon, I'll go do my radio show, Lighten Up for Sirius Satellite radio where I'll try to help some more people during the three hours I'm on the air.I hope you have a beautiful Sunday today and remember to do something nice for you today!Love,
