Guest guest
DOIN' WELL! Tuesday, 03 June 2008 Oh, I spent so many hours at my computer yesterday. I worked answering E-mails for about an hour and then I took a little break outdoors. I like to go outside, smell my roses or watch the hummingbirds drink the sweet nectar I make for them. After my little break, I come back inside and work for another hour. You know, I get all kinds of E-mails from people who have to lose weight. I also get a lot of mail from people who have an overweight friend or family member they want me to contact. And then I get E-mails like these...", I've been following your program for about two months now and have lost 12 pounds so far. (Not as much as I would like to have lost but, hey, Rome wasn't built in a day!) But I'm staying on program." Here's another E-mail I recently received: "I've been up and down the scale. I gained quite a bit of weight when I was pregnant with my daughter and after I had her, too! But I've been working hard, sweatin' hard and eating healthy for a few months. And guess what? I'm down from 294 to 250 pounds. I've lost 35 pounds so far!"And another..."My highest weight was 198 pounds. And I didn't want to stay there. So I made some changes in the way I ate and started working out everyday. Now I'm down to 164 pounds! But get this, someone took a photo of me a few days ago. And I have to say...I loved the way I looked and that's something I haven't been able to say about myself in a very long time!" Want more? ", I really didn't believe in myself at the beginning of my weight-loss adventure. But everyday I ate well and worked out, I felt more hope! I'm happy to share with you that I've lost 57 pounds and I have 50 more to lose before reaching my goal. And I will get there!"Oooh, these kinds of E-mails just make me feel so good! I love when my friends share their successes with me. I know how I felt, every step of the way of my own weight-loss journey. Well, as a matter of fact, I'm still on that journey. For as you know, losing weight and keeping it off is a life-long one. Did something in one of these quotes hit home for you? Good! Because that's why I wrote this message today. I wrote it to inspire you to get up, dance around and use your FoodMover to help with your accountability to yourself. And if you do those things, then you will certainly be doin' well, too! And soon, you'll be writing me with one of those kinds of E-mails about your own success.I'll be waiting to hear from you!Love,
