You know at the WW meetings they say to not "waste" your points on something unless it is a "10" or pretty darned close - so, what's your 10?

Like if you go to a family event or party and there is something there that you just can't have at any time, because it's Aunt Edna's special recipe and she only makes it once a year or something, so you just *have* to have some at the party?

Well. I decided this week what ONE of my 10s is and I am going to have it sometime this weekend LOL!!

HUCKLEBERRY MILKSHAKE, BABY!!

Ohhhhh yeah, those little babies (huckleberries) are only in season for a short period of time each year. That, or they get picked out quickly. Anyway, items made from them are super spendy because they have to go up in the mountains and fend off bears and other wild animals to get them (LOL). Well, when I was on my walk yesterday, I saw a sign at a local fast food joint for the shakes "limited time" so I GOTTA get one this weekend!! I'd have done it yesterday LOL but remember, I am out of flex points for the week. I am not positive, but milkshakes are in the range of 13 pts each.

So, this is a "10" for me and I am planning for it for this weekend!! Maybe as a pseudo reward for reaching my exercise, etc goals this week. Don't beat me up, I know we aren't supposed to reward ourselves with food. ;-)

Today's "Forced to Workout 6.2" thought is sub-titled: I *hate* my sports bra, but I did c25k 1:1 anyway!Hooooooorayyyyyyyyy for me!!

The program I downloaded calls for 5 minute warm-up walk and then 60/90 second run/walk intervals until you reach 20 minutes (so you should be out 25 minutes LOL) three times this week.

Question: if I go over by 4 minutes, can I subtract that from my next workout? Sigh. I didn't think so.

Anyway. I don't like running in public, even with having done the 12K with 50000 other people LOL, but I did it - I cut a few corners (on streets, not my wogging) to avoid people. The key is I got 'er done!

Not sure what today's step count is going to end up, because at barely 7 p.m., I am obviously not quite done for the night. I've got over 10000 so far. I want a treat and I didn't save enough points for it!! Maybe I'll walk to the grocery store. That's good for some more APs and then I can have a treat.

Kinda seems twisted to exercise so I can have a snak/treat tonight, but in a way, that is what they are for LOL!! Maybe I'll stick a piece of gum in and that will avoid having to satisfy the craving.

MMM I have a few BUT one that is a limited availability is when we go to the races in VT they have french fries that are to die for. FRESH potatoes, skins on, and fried and crispy. I usually bring a lunch and buy the fries. A lot of others there do that to. AL's FRIES. MMMM I do try to plan around them the 4 or 5 times a year I venture to VT.
