FOLDING & PACKNG!

Oh, I have a lot of things to do today before I sail away with all my friends on our fabulous Cruise To Lose! I can't believe we actually leave tomorrow! All of my luggage is open and ready for folding and packing.You know, I've taken so many cruises from Florida. And from Los Angeles to Tampa or Miami to board the ship, that's a long plane ride clear across the country. But tomorrow, all I have to do is hop on our big Cruise To Lose bus when it pulls up in front of my house and head directly for the ship! We sail out of LA this time!

Lemme see, how many tank tops do I need to put in this suitcase? Hmmm, I'd better take at least eight. Okay, two formal dinner nights so I'll need suits, shirts, and ties. Oh no, I've got to pack my matching Dolfin shorts to go with those tank tops! I wonder how long these shorts are going to last? Some of my candy-striped shorts are 28 years old now! Do you have any clothes that are 28 years old? LOL!Okay, I've also got to fold pajamas, T-shirts, my slouch socks...oh, I just always over pack! But hey, that's okay. Over packing is better than under-packing! I'd rather have it and not need it than the other way round!Right after I return from teaching class at Slimmons, I'll finish the rest of my packing and spend a little time with Hattie and Dolly. This is about the toughest part of the trip for me, saying good-bye to my girls. They'll be twelve years-old this year and this is the time of life they begin to slow down a bit. And of course, it's the time I begin to worry about them, too. So I'll hug them, kiss them, love them and put seven days worth of all that into just a few hours. I'll talk to them every night while I'm away. I always bring pictures of them to put in my cabin so I can still kiss them good night while I'm at sea.

And I'll be doing a lot of hugging and kissing at Slimmons today, too. I'm expecting a very emotional day at the studio. I'll meet a lot of new people who're coming on their very first Cruise To Lose. They got to LA early so they could join me in class today. I'll also be seeing a lot of good friends who've cruised with me in the past. We'll dance, sweat, sing and have a fantastic, energetic workout experience together today. My brother Lenny and his wife are in town to join us on the cruise. Tonight, I get to spend the evening with them. We'll go over the cruise itinerary together and talk about any excursions they may want to take at the ports-of-call we'll visit. They are both very excited getting to celebrate my 60th birthday with me on this cruise, too!

And for all of you Clubhouse members, our Cyber Cruise gets started today! The message boards for the Cyber Cruise will be open so Club members can start meeting the other Cyber Cruisers today.Well, I'd better go pick out my music for today's class. Wish you were here!Love,
