Guest guest
.... and I'm 8 for 8 on exercise this month! The olympics start(ed) today. I didn't catch any of them, but may have to check things out this weekend on t.v. TGIF! I did it. I got my <tush> out of bed early this morning and wogged before work. I am going to sign up for a 1/2 Marathon for mid-2009! It's called the Rock & Roll Seattle (Marathon) & 1/2 Marathon. Since there's no way in heck I am doing a full marathon (26.something miles) I am going to do the 1/2 (or 13.1 miles). You can check it out here: http://www.rnrsea.com/home.html (a little)... they haven't posted the route or anything exciting like that yet. I have 11 months to train for it since the race is 6/27/09, so I have printed out a few different training guides/schedules. Even though I can walk part and jog part, I want to be ready for that distance <wink>. The race I am used to doing, Bloomsday, is a 12K (7.46 miles) so this will be like doing Bloomsday x2 LOL!! And. It's HOTTER than HADES here again today (90-plus again) so I am actually GLAD I exercised earlier in the day (I have over 14000 steps for the day so far). Anyway, I'll be back this weekend and later to check the posts. in WA310/245.4/170 (-64.6 total, 75.4 to go, 5.4 from half-way point) I've lost 68.5 inches!!Two little words that can make the difference: START NOW. -- C.
