Guest guest Posted May 2, 2008 Report Share Posted May 2, 2008 WATER, WATER, EVERYWHERE Friday, 02 May 2008 I'm always so amazed at how much water there is out here in this sea. Sometimes I look down at the water from my cabin's balcony and wonder what's going on down there, deep below the ship. But if I think about it too much, I get a little scared and run right back into my cabin! LOL. Right before I came on the cruise. I watched a movie called The Water Horse. If you haven't seen it, you can rent or buy it on DVD. I'm not gonna tell you what it's about but I will tell you there's a lot of water involved.On this beautiful Friday, we'll meet early to do our Rise & Shine and Sweatin' class combined again. Today, we honor the birthday months of September and October for Virgo, Libra and Scorpio. The people born under these signs are very detail-oriented. They like harmony in their lives and they are built for endurance. And oh, I forgot to ask you something earlier this week. Do you read your horoscope every day, either on the web or in the daily newspaper? I was just curious. After class, everyone will get ready to visit our last port on the cruise, Cabo San Lucas. We're not there for a very long time but this beautiful port offers a lot. I love coming into Cabo because you pass right by El Arco. It is a beautiful granite arch of rock sitting in the ocean at the base of Cabo San Lucas and it is simply breathtakingly beautiful! Cabo is a fishing village and is the known as the marlin capital of the world. There are plenty of golf courses, beaches and lots of stores that sell pottery, handmade crafts and jewelry. A lot of the people in my group are going snorkeling here. I love when they return to the ship and tell me about their excursions. I like to see them try new adventures. I know a lot of those in my group have never parasailed before, for instance. But that will change for some of them after this cruise! And what will I do today? Well, I do have some letters to read that people have handed me on the ship this week. And I've got to make time to do some reading today. But maybe I'll make some time to sneak out for a little while to visit one of Cabo's flea markets.We have to be back on the ship by 4PM to get ready for our second formal night at dinner. Tonight, I'll take pictures with everyone dressed in their evening finest. It's always so funny because after they've visited three sunny ports this week, everyone looks a little bit like a red lobster! LOL. I always have so much fun posing with everyone for our shots together. I love to make them smile for their photos because there's just something wonderful about a smile. Tonight is a free night for everyone so they can go to a show or sing in the karaoke lounge, if they prefer. I hope you've all been following your FoodMover programs and getting your workouts in.
