My life has changed since doing my big sketch with Jimmy Kimmel on his ABC-TV show. I can't believe how many E-mails I've received from young people since doing his show. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. You know that Jimmy's show has developed an almost cult-like following with the younger, hipper, late night audience.

I never imagined when I did that sketch with him that so many people would see it! It's now on about 30-40 websites and over a million people have viewed it. And I think I've met just about every one of them! LOL.You probably know that I don't go out that much. I'm mostly a stay-at-home kinda guy. When I'm not on the road, I usually stay home and really get into my work. But I do have to run a few errands on occasion and so I do get out of the house for a little while.

While I was out shopping in one store a few days ago, a group of about ten girls in town visiting from Ohio came in. My goodness, you would have thought they'd spotted Hannah Montana or somebody when they saw me! They came up to me screaming and telling me how much they loved me on Jimmy Kimmel Live! They wanted autographs and asked me to pose for photos as they snapped away with their cell phone cameras! Were they all ever just so cute!And before I was done with them, another group of tourists were in the store and the whole process started all over again! I stood for even more photos, finally picked up the item I had come to the store for and headed home.Now let me tell you what's been happening at Slimmons lately. The studio has just been packed with Jimmy Kimmel fans! Why last Saturday, we could all hardly fit into the workout room for all of the guests.

Once class got started, I looked around the room and I felt like that guy surrounded by all the kids in The Sound Of Music! I observed that with most of the folks in class that morning, I was old enough to be the father of at least 50% of them. And I just loved it!When you're around that many young people, I feel it helps you stay young. And right now, I'm feeling about 16 years-old again! I recently received a very nice note form Jimmy, personally. It was so sweet and funny. The front of the "Thank You" card read "Jimmy Kimmel thanks you and loves you." And on the inside, he had written a very nice, personal note to me. (Oh, I feel a holiday sketch brewing for the two of us!)
